 Anointed University Worldwide Ohio Celebrates 2025 PhD Award Convocation Ceremony in Cincinnati, Ohio.


Cincinnati, Ohio – August 30, 2025 

Anointed University Worldwide proudly hosted its 2025 PhD Award Convocation Ceremony on August 30, 2025, at the prestigious Cincinnati Convention Center. The event was a momentous occasion, celebrating the achievements of distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities. Opening Remarks by Dr. Fadaka Adetu The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from the esteemed moderator, Dr. Fadaka Adetu. 

Dr. Adetu welcomed guests, faculty, and graduates, setting a tone of celebration and recognition for the remarkable achievements that were to be honored throughout the day. Academic Procession and Declaration of Convocation The academic procession followed, featuring faculty members and dignitaries in full regalia, symbolising the academic excellence upheld by Anointed University.


The Chancellor, Prof. George Aladeoba, officially declared the convocation open, emphasising the importance of education and the role of the university in shaping future leaders. 

Opening Prayer by Dr. Cate Babalola Dr. Cate Babalola led the audience in an opening prayer, invoking blessings on the ceremony and the recipients, and expressing gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate such significant accomplishments. 

 Criteria for Nomination Explained Dr. Fadaka Adetu then took the stage to explain the criteria for nomination for the prestigious Honorary PhD Award and the Integrity Fellow Humanitarian Ambassador Hall of Fame Class. 


Dr. Adetu highlighted the values of integrity, service, and excellence that the award embodies, underscoring the university's commitment to recognizing individuals who have made a profound impact on society. 

Pronouncement of Honorary PhD Recipients The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kate Aladeoba, made the pronouncement of the Honorary PhD recipients, acknowledging their exceptional contributions and the high standards they represent. The audience erupted in applause as the names of the recipients were announced, celebrating their achievements and dedication.   Oath of Allegiance Ceremony Following the pronouncement, Dr. Fadaka Adetu led the recipients in the Oath of Allegiance, a solemn commitment to uphold the values and responsibilities associated with their honorary degrees. 

This moment underscored the significance of their roles as ambassadors of integrity and humanitarian efforts. Significance of the Award Items The Vice Chancellor then took the opportunity to read the significance of the award items, explaining the symbolism behind each element of the ceremony and its connection to the university's mission and vision.

 Donning Ceremony and Certification The highlight of the event was the donning ceremony, where the eight recipients were adorned with their academic regalia, symbolizing their new status as Honorary PhD holders.  

The Chancellor of Anointed University Worldwide conferred the certifications upon each recipient, marking a moment of pride and accomplishment for both the individuals and the university community. 

 Conclusion The 2025 PhD Award Convocation Ceremony at Anointed University Worldwide was a resounding success, celebrating the achievements of extraordinary individuals and reinforcing the university's commitment to excellence, integrity, and humanitarian service.
